 Rice Bran Oil

Rice Bran Oil botanical oils is derived from the oils of naturally grown seeds. Using the 'cold extract' process ensures that the unique and beneficial properties of the oils are retained to their highest degree. These fine oils are not exposed to any heat process, which would destroy their desired qualities. Using this method also reduces exposure to air and light thus avoiding oxidation and denaturing of the oils.

No preservatives, no additives, no colouring, no artificial flavouring have been used in the entire process.

Rice Bran Oil botanical oils is a rich source of polyunsaturated fatty acids containing Omega 3, 6, 9, unique Linoleic and Linolenic acids. It also includes Vitamin E (α-, β-, ω-, δ-, tocopherol), which acts as an antioxidant.

Unsaturated fatty acids are very important for the respiration of cells. Current research suggests that a lack of unsaturated fatty acids may increase the risk of chronic diseases. Essential fatty acids such as Linoleic and Linolenic acids are precursors of prostagladins, which are essential substances in the body as they are vital internal regulators for the body. Other important compounds found in Rice Bran Oil botanical oil are campesterol, sitosterol, stigmasterol, and oryzanol, which are necessary for blood circulation to maintain optimum health.

The benefits of using Rice Bran Oil include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • reduce high cholesterol - eliminate bad LDL and at the same time increase good HDL cholesterol
  • provide vital Omega essential fatty acids (Omega 3, 6, 9)
  • cleans "plaque" from blood and blood vessels
  • "thins" blood to prevent aneuryism (blood clots restricting blood flow in blood vessels) and improve blood circulation
  • stimulate collagen production to the skin and thus support and improve skin healing
  • in conjuction with the properties of LB17, it is highly effective in healing chronic skin sores quickly and effectively
  • in conjunction with LB17, it is effective in preventing the occurance of "blood poisoning" (gangrene or septisemia)
  • help to keep soft and supple from the inside as well as improving skin complesion
  • help maintain hormonal balance thereby reducing depression and postpartum or post-natal depression
